4 x 4000 kVA Packaged Standby Generators for London Data Centre

These 4 Bespoke Acoustic Enclosures each house a 4000 kVA MTU diesel generator set.

The enclosures were attenuated to noise level of just 65 dB(A) at 1 metre, with penthouse inlet and outlet attenuation due to the limited footprint available on site.

Alongside the generators themselves, each enclosure was packaged with internal ventilation fans, lube oil tanks, medium voltage cabling from the genset to the link box, fuel polishers, water mist fire suppression systems, and other auxiliary equipment.

The 4 enclosures were supplied complete with 4 x 21,000 litre belly tanks, all of which was manufactured and fully packaged at our Pontefract, UK facility.

The units were delivered to London, UK and installed on site at a large data centre, the most connected of the provider's data centres in Europe, to provide mission-critical emergency standby power.
