Advanced Diesel Engineering was established in 1997 as a small family-run business servicing generators from two small vans. As the business grew, the company begun to fabricate and refurbish used generators and quickly purchased their first mini-factory from three small industrial units.
In 2003 Advanced Diesel Engineering needed to keep-up with demand, therefore a larger premesis and investment in machinery was required. The business moved to a much larger facility where the company had scope to continue its rapid growth.
Due to continued growth in projects and especially switchgear enclosures, ADE required a second facility to keep-up with the relentless production rate. ADE invested in a second facility in Yorkshire, UK.
In 2021 ADE was acquired by the PBE Group and formally renamed ADE Power, further enhancing PBE's comprehensive range of services as a crucial partner on large-scale projects.
Within a year of PBE's new ownership, capacity in the UK had been doubled due to investment and expansion of the existing facilities.
ADE Australia was opened in Hexham, New South Wales, allowing ADE to strengthen product offerings & project opportunities in the APAC region.
